We are open 52 weeks a year, with the exception of bank holidays..
Our philosophy Is to have happy babies and children in a safe stimulated environment. To work in partnership with the child's family to provide the best care possible. Achieving this is what gives us our excellent reputation, our motivated staff are loving professionals trained to a very high standard.

Safe and Secure Our policies cover all areas of the nursery from health and safety to risk assessments.
All our policies area available for inspection upon request.
Our staff are regularly trained to all aspects of safety.
Access to the nursery is strictly by appointment only.
There are cameras in all rooms just to give you the extra piece of mind.

Settling In
Before your child starts with us you can visit together as many times as you like, and you can arrange short sessions where your child can get used to our surroundings. Our Staff are hand picked not only for their quallifications but for their personality. We take time and pride in ensuring we only have the best staff to look after your child. Our Daily Routines vary for each section of the nursery. All routines are available for inspection and are on display in the entrance hall. Every day is busy with all sorts of activities and even the babies get involved. Activities start around 9.30 am until 4.30 pm, leaving time for breakfast, toast and milk, lunch and tea. |

For over twenty years Registered Person Tammie Barker (Mrs) is registered with the CIW to provide child – care at Lakeside Day Nursery.
She is a mother of 3 boys; they were her reason and motivation for opening her nursery in Swansea during March 1997.
As a working parent she understands and empathises and realises the difficulties facing parents today, who are looking for excellent nursery care for their child.
At lakeside we have excellent facilities with a service second to none.
The children's and parents needs are always at the forefront of her facility.
Complaints and concerns are taken seriously at lakeside.
Depending on your concern or complaint you can speak with your child’s key worker, section second in charge or team leader.
Tammie Barker the nursery proprietor will be consulted with all complaints & concerns.
You can raise concerns, complaints or quires in person, in writing via e mail or arrange a meeting.
